The Southeast Asian Media Studies Journal (SEAMSJ) is the international, blind peer-reviewed, and open-access scholarly journal of the Southeast Asian Media Studies Association (SEAMSA). It publishes open-call and special themed issues. Each issue includes a section for scholarly articles and another section for the reviews of books, film festivals, exhibitions and media events. The journal welcomes studies that focus on the 11 ASEAN member states, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam, as well as Southeast Asian communities, industries, cultures, and media systems.
SEAMSJ is indexed in EBSCO and the Asian Research Index.
There are NO submission or publication charges for this journal.
